The Karnataka government's three-day Bengaluru Technology Summit, in its 25th year, concluded on November 18 with a declaration of five points.
Organised by the Department of Electronics, IT, Bt and S&T, Government of Karnataka and Co-Hosted by STPI, Bengaluru Technology Summit brings together the most established businesses across technologies, the most talented individuals, researchers, consultants, academia, professionals and other stakeholders providing them with a unique opportunity to interact and engage for mutual benefit.
The platform celebrated its 25th year and offered another enriching confluence of pioneering companies, bright minds, and cutting-edge technologies in IT, Biotechnology, Deeptech, Start-ups and other future-defining spaces. This invigorating crucible benefits the various stakeholders associated with the respective domains - industry leaders, technocrats, young innovators, investors, R&D professionals, academia, and policymakers.
Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, said, “Technology, innovation and problem-solving approach of start-ups is a force multiplier which will help India acquire global dominance in the sphere of technology and innovation. He was speaking at the 25th Bangaluru Tech Summit in Bengaluru today.”
Piyush Goyal further added, “Indian Start-ups are almost playing the role of a booster dose in the post pandemic recovery that India is leading from the front. Despite geo-political challenges that has pushed world trade back and when countries are falling into recessionary mode, it is our bright young boys and girls who have helped India lead global recovery.”
Basavaraj Bommai, Chief Minister said, "The summit received 4.52 lakh visitors in person and another 4.99 crore people virtually. Also, ecosystem partners such as Google, Paytm, HDFC, RazorPay, Microsoft, The GAIN, Dayanand Sagar Entrepreneurship Research and Business incubation, AWS Activate, and StrongHer Ventures have signed MoUs with the State. The summit also saw the launch of 28 new products."
