Rachita Arora and Sujeet Madhogaria recently celebrated their wedding at the ITC Grand Bharat, with the event planned and managed by One Point Weddings. The multi-day celebration reflected the couple’s journey, preferences, and cultural traditions, creating a warm and welcoming experience for family and friends.

The wedding celebrations were designed to highlight the couple’s story and honor their cultural backgrounds. Inspired by their travels, personalities, and traditions, the events were planned to be elegant yet approachable, focusing on meaningful moments.

The Mehendi and Haldi drew inspiration from the couple’s first trip together to the Amalfi Coast. Décor included elements like terracotta patterns, pink bougainvillea, and bright lemons, creating a vibrant yet relaxed setting. The couple made a memorable entrance to their chosen anthem, #SurachKiBaahonMein, and guests enjoyed Italian-themed cocktails and food curated by CocktailsDzire.

The Sangeet was a lively evening with a focus on music and dance, reflecting Rachita and Sujeet’s shared interests. Decor was understated yet elegant, with earthy tones, crystal accents, and whimsical elements like portraits of animals in formal attire. The event included a friendly dance-off, heartfelt speeches from family members, and a late-night celebration led by DJ Mukul.

The traditional Bhaat and Chooda ceremonies brought cultural significance to the festivities. Sujeet’s family organized a Rajasthani Bhaat with folk singers and dancers, while Rachita’s family hosted a Chooda and Gharoli ceremony with Punjabi dhol players. These events were held at Yamuna Ghat, complemented by Indian-style décor.

The wedding day featured a simple and elegant décor palette with pastel tones, roses, and chandeliers. A special ‘Wall of Memories’ installation showcased milestones from the couple’s lives, offering guests a glimpse into their journey. The couple chose to adapt some traditional practices, opting for an approach that emphasized equality. Before the Varmala, Rachita surprised Sujeet with a note expressing her feelings, and during the ceremony, she applied sindoor on Sujeet’s forehead as a reciprocal gesture of commitment.
