Percept Live Targets 10 Cities for ‘Bollyboom House’ Lounges in Two Years

Percept Live has taken its Bollywood dance music IP ‘Bollyboom’ beyond its live entertainment roots with ‘Bollyboom House’, a series of themed lounges with F&B and live entertainment events. According to the agency, this is a step towards establishing Bollyboom as a 360-degree lifestyle brand for fans.

The first such lounge ‘Bollyboom House @ Favela’ at Baga was inaugurated in Goa on 15 December 2021, with a preview for select guests including Leander Paes, Kim Sharma, Pooja Bedi, and Julia Bliss. Bollyboom DJs including DJ Suketu entertained the gathering.

In its eight years of existence, Bollyboom has hosted shows at more than 100 live events across India and abroad in arena and night club formats. This is the first time Bollyboom will be available through the year at a lounge bar.

Designed by Shabnam Gupta of The Orange Lane, Favela is spread over a 10,000 sq. feet area in the Arpora area. By day, the establishment will offer a tropical lounge ambience. By night, it will feature Bollywood music artistes, live bands, DJs and dancers for entertainment sessions curated by Bollyboom. Content will span unplugged artists, cover bands and evenings dedicated to legends of Bollywood. Food and beverages inspired by Bollywood will be on offer. The plan is to host around 12 to 15 live acts every month.

Percept Live plans to take the concept to cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Chennai over the next two years.
