The inaugural edition of EVENTFAQS Mettle Awards was announced in early 2021 to honour exemplary achievements by those in events and experiential marketing in 2020, the first year of the Covid19-induced lockdown.

Sunburn Home Festival by Percept Live has been nominated in the category of Mettle - Use of Technology.

Sunburn for Goa by Percept Live has been nominated in the category of Mettle - Social Impact.

This year saw the use of Extended Reality to take the music festival experience to homes virtually, while ‘Sunburn for Goa’ generated over 8 million views and contributed almost Rs. 45 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Covid Relief Fund-Goa.

The Mettle Awards ceremony, which was repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic, stands cancelled and organisers have decided to refrain from announcing winners, deeming such a celebration inappropriate in the current times.

The event has been nominated in the categories of Use of Technology and Social Impact at the inaugural Mettle Awards to honour the event industry’s lockdown heroes.
