Chitr Sanstha Launches Month-long Photography Webinars ‘Dekho’

Chitr Sanstha Foundation, a non-profit organisation for photography, has launched a month-long webinar series ‘Dekho’ starting 16th August 2020.

The series, which features an established cinematographer or camera person a day via an interactive Zoom session from 4 to 5 pm (IST), is free to attend. Alongside, an exhibition will display their works for the duration of the series.

Besides promoting creative works of some of the photographers, the webinar will touch upon some of the challenges, issues, and other logistical matters connected to photography and its related areas of work, informed an official statement.

It added that the webinar is an attempt by Chitr Sanstha Foundation to foster ties between professionals and serve as a bridge between them. Besides building interaction, the attempt is to give them an opportunity to have professional guidance on photography from leading photographers.

Udit Kulshreshtha, Co-founder, Chitra Sanstha Foundation, said, “This is our meagre attempt to bring together some of the best minds of the creative field of photography. More so, in these difficult times of the global pandemic. I am also really proud that the photography industry is rallying together to keep visual artists and photographers motivated during the lockdown with everyone we approached giving their instant nod to such an idea.”

Some of the confirmed speakers for the webinar series are Dinesh Khanna, Waswo X Waswo, Aditya Arya, Akash Das, Hemant Chaturvedi, Satyajit CP, Ajay Rajgarhia and Paul Halliday.
