On Tuesday, Huawei held a media launch to unveil the Huawei Watch GT for the Indian market at The Lalit, New Delhi and announced the availability and pricing details of the product on March 12, 2019. The Huawei Watch GT is Huawei’s first premium smartwatch with its custom software named Lite OS. It has Huawei’s custom processor with ‘double chipset’ architecture for better performance and higher power efficiency. Huawei also announced the Band 3 Pro, an activity tracker with a built-in GPS tracker and an IR-based heart rate monitor. 

Vibgyor was given the mandate to conceptualize and manage all aspects of the India launch event after a multi-agency pitch. Right from the Hotel booking, coordination, MICE, invites, registration, product presentation, event set-up, demo zones and giveaways, all aspects of the event were managed flawlessly by Vibgyor. The event began with a product presentation by Mr. Anupam Yadav, Product Expert Huawei. The smartwatches were then unveiled via a stunning demo zone, that displayed each unique feature of the products through interactive walls along with demo tables for a hands-on experience of the products. 

The demo zone had one wall that focused on wellness features of the smartwatch, highlighting Huawei TruSleep feature that monitors sleep and recognises 5 types of sleep problems. The other wall focused on the fitness features, highlighting the various activities that the watch can track like training, cycling, running and swimming. The center wall highlighted the major features of the watch with an LFD for content and product videos.
