Sony Music partners with EVENTFAQS to announce the first EP of The Yellow Diary, a band managed exclusively by them. The announcement will be made on April 25, 2018 at Event Show Asia - Mumbai 2018,  at Sahara Star. 

The Yellow Diary is a five-member, music collective with a sound that can be best defined as alternative rock! The all-boy band's members hail from varied backgrounds, but have one thing in common -- their passion for music. With a blend of electronic music and rock, they are touted to be a compositional powerhouse, widely appreciated by biggies like Vishal Dadlani, Papon, Warren Mendonsa, Ranjit Barot, and Raghu Dixit.

Talking about the exclusive collaboration, Rohan Jha, Head of Pop, Sony Music Entertainment says, "The Yellow Diary’s debut EP, Marz, is their way of breaking all musical shackles and to revive the genre of rock with a modern twist blended with thought-provoking poetry. The 3 songs in their EP are quite diverse from a lyrical and musical standpoint.  The songs talk about topics regarding the internal struggles to what is going on in today’s world. The soundscape of this EP is a unique blend of electronic elements with contemporary rock. All 3 tracks in the EP, “Marz”, “Afzai” and “Kashmir” have their own distinct aspects. However, each of these songs is meant to relate to different listeners on different levels.

The Yellow Diary members add, "Out of all the chapters in our diary, we felt an immediate need to share these with the world as part of our first EP. They are musical interpretations of opinions or situations we all see and this is our expression of it."
