Trussing & Rigging Workshop by Klaus Köberle at Palm Expo 2018 Planned from May 31-June 2

Klaus Koberle Star Dimensions Palm Expo 2018

Palm Expo 2018 is all set to kick off from May 31, 2018 to June 02, 2018 in Mumbai and will witness a multitude of interesting activities and workshops. Global Truss and The Truss Academy in partnership with Star Dimensions has announced a Trussing & Rigging Workshop by Klaus Köberle, Founding member of The Truss Academy.

The workshop will include discussions on Load Calculation, Overview of Truss Types, Light Duty, Medium Duty & Heavy Duty Truss, How to read and understand load tables, Slinging of Truss, Load Bars / Brackets. The workshop will be held across all three days of the event at different time slots during the day. The workshop will be held at NESCO - Hall No. 5.

Klaus Köberle had the first contacts with the event industry in 1983. Since then he has obtained a diploma in architecture and the “Master of Event Technology” besides several other qualifications. Apart from rigging, his other passion lies in pyrotechnics where he realised several large in-and-outdoor fireworks and special effects all around the world. For more than 10 years he is the rigging consultant and safety engineer for the Olympic Park in Munich realizing shows for AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Linkin Park, Elton John and many, many others. He assists several associations (VPLT, DGUV, IGVW) when it comes to defining rigging and safety standards. Additionally, he serves in court as an expert and lectures in various event academies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxemburg as well as during international exhibitions. Klaus is one of the founding members of the Truss Academy and is recognized for his outstanding knowledge in regards to rigging and safety.
