Infosys Asks BrandAid Events to Give Them Something They Have Never Seen Before

When Infosys wanted an event management firm to organise The Awards For Excellence 2016-17, BrandAid Events stepped up to the challenge. A tradition that began in 1995, The Award For Excellence or AFE as it is known within Infosys is their highest honour. It is awarded only to those employees who have gone above and beyond, surpassing expectations and exhibiting the true Infoscian way of life. With 150 winners flying in from across the globe to receive their awards, the leadership team of Infosys in attendance and an auditorium filled with their colleagues, the execution of AFE 2016-17 had to be nothing short of absolute perfection. The event took place on March 7 at Infosys, Bangalore.

Staying true to the brief given by Infosys “give us something that we have never seen before,” BrandAid Events pulled out all the stops to bring together an experience extravaganza. A custom-built tunnel with vanity mirror styled frames highlighting the various categories mounted on the inner walls, led the winners into the main venue. The stage boasted of approximately 700 square feet of LED screens, enclosed within hand-crafted capsules with a pair of life-sized revolving trophies framing the main screen. The ample visual real estate provided a personalized and thrilling experience for each of the winners.

The gala extravaganza began with a heart-thumping and visually electrifying sound and light show, setting the pace for the rest of the evening. Gaurav Kapoor, the celebrity MC for the event conducted the evening with wit and engaging banter. The audience was entertained by MJ5, a highly skilled and synchronized dance troupe emulating the legendary Michael Jackson, and Apoorv Singh, the LED drummer who left the audience mesmerized with an electrifying and thumping performance.
