PM Narendra Modi Art Of Living World Culture Festival

The World Culture Festival is slated to be held in Delhi from March 11 to 13. Organised by the Art of Living Foundation, the multi-cultural fest aims to attract over 3.5 million people from 155 countries and millions more connecting online to be a part of the celebrations. The festival will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and will also have valedictory speech by President Pranab Mukherjee.

The World Culture Festival is a celebration of The Art of Living’s 35 years of service to humanity, spirituality and human values to over 370 million people across 155 countries. By showcasing rich cultural traditions of dance, music and art from around the world, the festival aims to foster deeper understanding between people of different faiths, nationalities and backgrounds.

In a unique line-up of cultural performances and a visual extravaganza, about 36,000 artists will perform on a stage built over 7 acres in the three-day mega event. The venue itself is spread over an area of 1000 acres. 

The World Culture Festival will further host a Global Leadership Forum along with an Interfaith Meet. Few of the national and international dignitaries expected to participate in the forum like Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan; Arun Jaitley, Minister of Finance; Piyush Goyal, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy, India; Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh; Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi and Naheed Farid, Member of Parliament, Afghanistan, among others.
