Pinkstar Events Concludes Two-Month Long Campaign for ACC Cement in North India

Delhi-based Pinkstar Events executed a two-month-long mall activation for ACC Cement at 40 locations in 40 cities across north India from Nov to Dec 2015. ACC also invited regional dealers and their teams to be a part of this activity, which is said to have reached out to 1.10 lakh people.
On the goal of the campaign, Tarun Khosla, Marketing Head – North, ACC Cement said, “The aim of the promotion is to create a strong platform for the brand through experiential marketing and promote the new ACC Gold cement with features”.
Speaking about the campaign, Amit Mishra, Head – Operations, Pinkstar Events said, "The brief was to create a strong brand recall by reaching out to the target audience in the most effective way. We had to create a versatile campaign that would work across malls and market spaces. We had to focus on timely execution and maintaining uniform standards in each city.”
The 40 malls and market places touched included those in cities like Delhi NCR, Ludhiana, Kota, Jaipur, Bhopal, Varanasi, Dehradun, Haldawni, Shimla, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kanpur, Amritsar, Jabalpur, Indore, Ambala and others.
The agency has been managing activations in North India for the brand for the last two and a half years. Initially, the agency won the mandate in a competitive bidding process.
The activation saw an emcee and promoters attract people to the stall, where an ACC representative provided the ACC gold demo, also informing them about offers available. This process allowed the marketers to collect leads while engaging the audience. Those who participated in various games at the stall were rewarded with ACC balloons, robes, instant photos with a branded photo frame, and other prizes.
The activation took place in 40 location across 40 cities in North India including, malls and markets and is said to have reached out to 1.10 lakh people.
