TalentNomics India, in partnership with KAS SOPAS, hosted its 9th Global Leadership Conference titled “Restoring the Equiverse – From Vision to Action” on March 27, 2025, at Aerocity, New Delhi. The conference brought together over 150 global and regional leaders, policymakers, corporate executives, and social change-makers, all united in their commitment to promoting gender equity and inclusive leadership.

Throughout the day, attendees participated in thought-provoking sessions focused on creating a more equitable future. Discussions ranged from reimagining workplaces with gender-responsive employment practices to bridging the gender wealth gap through financial empowerment. Experts offered practical insights and policy recommendations to tackle systemic barriers affecting women’s economic independence.

A particularly moving session featured the SEWA Sisters’ journey, translated by Mansi Shah, shedding light on the challenges women in the informal sector face and the transformative power of financial inclusion. Another powerful segment, Allies to Advocates, highlighted how diverse voices—including men, educators, and media professionals—can shift narratives and drive real, lasting change.

The conference also explored the media’s role in social transformation in the session Walking the Talk, emphasizing the importance of storytelling and responsible journalism in restoring balance in the Equiverse. A key highlight was the launch of the comprehensive report “Bridging the Gender Gap: Work, Wealth, Welfare & Well-being,” which outlines actionable strategies to accelerate progress across these critical areas.

Inspiring keynote addresses added depth to the event. Her Excellency May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway to India and Sri Lanka, shared global policy successes and emphasized the urgent need for collective action. Neelam Dhawan offered insights into visionary leadership in the fields of technology and finance, reinforcing the importance of closing gender gaps for a sustainable future.

The conference concluded with an intimate valedictory session by Kanta Singh, Deputy Representative of UN Women India. Her powerful message urged stakeholders to move from awareness to measurable action, leaving participants motivated and committed to driving change.
