Gargi Mandlik and Rhythm Gurjar’s wedding was an intimate celebration held in the month of November at Gallops, Mumbai, with The Wedding Works overseeing every detail. When Gargi and Rhythm approached The Wedding Works, they sought a wedding that felt both intimate and elegant, blending sophistication with warmth. After understanding their preferences, the team recommended Gallops – a venue that offered the perfect balance of privacy and luxury. The natural greenery surrounding the venue, paired with the tailored décor, created a welcoming atmosphere, forming the foundation of the wedding design.

In planning, The Wedding Works focused on highlighting the couple’s personal story. Special elements such as a flower bar and an Akshada counter were introduced to honor the couple and their union. To accommodate the diverse group of guests, the team ensured that wedding itineraries and ritual details were printed and placed on each chair. This thoughtful touch helped guests, particularly those new to Indian wedding customs, feel more connected to the experience.

Additionally, to ensure that international guests felt comfortable, The Wedding Works coordinated with stylists to assist them in selecting appropriate attire. These fittings were arranged just two days before the wedding, ensuring that everyone could participate fully in the festivities.

The wedding journey began with an intimate haldi ceremony, where the couple wore green and pink, breaking away from traditional yellow tones. The décor was simple yet elegant, with a marigold backdrop. Family members took part in the turmeric application ritual, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

The wedding ceremony blended traditional Indian elements with modern touches. Pastel hues were complemented by brass elements, including candlestands and urlis filled with flowers. A mirrored aisle led to the mandap, where a semicircular halo of greenery and cascading blooms created a focal point. The bride, in a classic red saree, walked down the aisle to exchange vows with her groom, while guests showered them with flower cones as a symbol of blessings. The ceremony concluded with a fireworks display, adding a celebratory moment.

For the reception, the venue was transformed with fairy lights, creating a warm ambiance. The mandap was converted into a stage for the couple’s first dance and the lively family sangeet performances. The bride refreshed her look for the evening, changing her hairstyle and joining her husband on stage to applause from the guests. The joyful atmosphere continued through the evening as guests danced and celebrated the newlyweds.

The decor, designed by Your Wedding Crafters, featured pastel tones, brass accents, and a floral halo mandap, creating a structured and elegant setup.
