Goa Tourism Strengthens Global Ties with Roadshows in Georgia and Poland

The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, concluded its Goa Roadshow 2024 in two key European markets; Tbilisi, Georgia, on December 2, and Warsaw, Poland, on December 5. These exclusive event aimed to engage with Poland’s travel community and promote Goa as a destination for Polish tourists.
The event featured a presentation by Director Tourism, Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, highlighting Goa’s scenic landscapes, cultural heritage, and hospitality. A video presentation provided attendees with a glimpse of Goa’s offerings.
Her Excellency Nagma Mohamed Mallick, Ambassador of India to Poland, and Mohan Lal, Counsellor, were present at the event, emphasizing the shared cultural and tourism connections between India and Poland.
Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Director of Tourism, said, “The Georgian market holds immense promise for Goa’s tourism. Through this roadshow, we aimed to establish deeper connections, showcase Goa’s unparalleled experiences, and address the expectations of Georgian travellers. We are confident this initiative will enhance their understanding of what Goa has to offer and will result in Goa welcoming more charters and tourists from Georgia.”

The event included a discussion on Goa’s artistic traditions, a Q&A session to address travel-related queries, and one-on-one interactions between Goa Tourism officials and Polish stakeholders to explore potential partnerships.
