Harsha Vardhan Agarwal Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry President

Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Emami, took over as the President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for the 2024-25 term on November 21, 2024. He succeeded Anish Shah at FICCI's 97th annual general meeting in New Delhi.

Agarwal is a second-generation leader of the Emami Group, a USD 3.1 billion diversified business, and leads the group's FMCG division. He is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organisation and the Executive Committee of the Indian Chamber of Commerce. Known for his strategic mindset, Agarwal was named one of India's top young business leaders in the 'Forty Under 40' list by The Economic Times in 2016.

FICCI also announced that Anant Goenka has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Vijay Sankar has joined as Vice President. Goenka is the Vice Chairman of the RPG Group and former CEO of CEAT, while Sankar is the Chairman of The Sanmar Group, which operates in chemicals, engineering technologies, and shipping, with a turnover of around USD 1.6 billion.

Agarwal is a second-generation leader of the Emami Group, a USD 3.1 billion diversified business, and leads the group's FMCG division.
