As the clock struck Gin O’Clock, the city joined us to vibe to a plethora of unique experiences- starting with 3 exciting GEC Festival Bars to serve up quick yet delicious cocktails all day. For the first time ever, GEC saw takeovers from some of the best of the 30 Best Bars to bring people a taste of some of the best cocktails India has to offer from bars like Sidecar, Cocktails & Dreams Speakeasy, Comorin, Perch and Home.

A treat for all Gin-nerds was the Gin Atelier bringing exclusive tasting sessions with experts like Yangdup Lama hosting the Hapusa tasting, Hemant Mundkur at the Bombay Sapphire Sip & Paint session, Param Veer hosting a unique coffee cocktail making session with Bili Hu & Tanqueray and many more.

As part of the gin-curious and a gin-loving audience that the weekend saw were brand custodians from across the alco-bev industry gracing the festival and soaking in the experience for themselves, to the likes of Aparajita Ninan, Co-Founder of Nao Spirits, Aditya Aggarwal, Founder of Samsara among others.

The festival had an eclectic music line-up that included Sahirah, Ashna Malik, Lynston, DJ SA, Kamakshi Khanna, Aneesha Das, Tanya Nambiar & Band, Nina Shah, Avantika Bakshi, The Copycats, Jonas Saalbach, and more bringing the city together to celebrate Gin in true spirit and style.

With plans to only get bigger, GEC is all set to head to many more cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai soon to bring forth a festival that promises to give guests a juniper-fuelled exploration into a mythical land.
