Food Talk India brought India’s biggest Gin Festival - The Gin Explorers Club (GEC) to the city for its second Mumbai edition on January 7 & 8, 2023 at Jio World Garden, BKC and took the city by storm with cocktails, exciting music acts, impeccable experiences, and magical vibes all the way.

Spotted at the festival were prominent names in the city like Tara Sutaria, Mithila Palkar, Babil Khan, Anshula Kapoor, Zaeden, Dino Morea, Ashish Shakya, Ronak Rajani and many more.

This edition celebrated a mythical world with GEC and promised to bring forth an experience that goes beyond imagination with 15 of the coolest homegrown and international gins for people to experience over a weekend of revelry. With over 15,000 people attending, the two-day festival showcased a mix of Homegrown and International Gin and Mixer brands coming together: Roku, Monkey 47, Gordon's, Greater Than, Hendrick's, Jaisalmer, Beefeater, Tamras, Tanqueray, Bulldog, Jade Forest, Schweppes and more.
The festival also hosted some private Gin tastings by brands like Hapusa, Beefeater, Jaisalmer, Malfy, Tamras and Sector Gin at the Gin Atelier.
The weekend saw many innovative and special events such as bar takeovers and some fun activities - with takeovers from some of the best bars from across the country serving up some delicious tipples to get people to experience signature cocktails from all over, a special Slink & Bardot bar at the artist lounge, complimented by an eclectic music line-up to get you to sway to the beats of artists like DJ SA, NIDA, Nina Shah, Stalvart John + Farhan Rehman, Blurry Slur x Orbs & Zen among many more.

The festival was powered by Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality, one of India’s top F&B companies. The festival offered a variety of pop-ups by restaurants under the portfolio including SOCIAL, Smoke House Deli, Salt Water Cafe, Prithvi Cafe, BOSS Burger, Lucknowee, Hung-li, Goodness To Go, Dope Coffee and more.

With the plan to only get bigger, Gin Explorers Club gave the guests an experience of a juniper-fuelled exploration in their mythical land and is all set to head to many more cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai in the near future.
