130th Edition of Durand Cup to Kick Off in Kolkata on 5 September

The 130th edition of football tournament Durand Cup will be hosted in West Bengal from 5 September to 3 October 2021. The tournament will be held after a year's hiatus due to the Covid19 pandemic.
In 2019, the tournament was moved from Delhi to Kolkata and was won by Gokulam Kerala, which defeated Mohun Bagan 2-1 in the finals. The four-week tournament will feature matches at various venues in and around Kolkata.
Sixteen participating teams from across the country, including four from the Services, will compete for three trophies: the President's Cup, the Durand Cup, and the Shimla Trophy.
The tournament is supported by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the IFA (Indian Football Association, West Bengal), and the West Bengal government.
Four-week tournament will feature matches at various venues in and around the West Bengal capital, with 16 teams in the fray.
