After launching the #UnlockingLife Campaign to showcase new and safe entertainment experiences post pandemic, leading entertainment destination BookMyShow conducted a survey among cinema buffs, asking them questions like the last film they watched, the film they are waiting for, cinema pet peeves, favourite popcorn flavours, etc., to gauge their mood as movie theatres are opening up.

The survey revealed that 49% people missed the larger-than-life experience of watching movies, beating the 21% votes for hooting and whistles, 19% for exploring popcorn combos and 11% watching movie trailers while watching films in multiplexes.

The biggest pet peeve about cinemas revealed by the survey turned out to be mobile phone users (44%) along with crying babies (38%) and late entrants (17%).

In anticipation of being back in movie theatres, the survey gives us an outlook from the respondents on what they missed during the pandemic.

As movie theatres are opening up, BookMyShow conducted a survey among cinema buffs asking them some relevant questions to gauge their mood.
