Whistling Woods International
The second and final winner of the Event Education Festival Contest was announced on day three of Whistling Woods International's 'The Event Education Festival' on 31st July 2020.
Contestants were asked to respond to the question:
What can event creators do to encourage brand sponsorships for virtual/hybrid events?
The winning response was from Abhilash Patnaik:
“Event creators should collaborate with social media influencers to attract brand sponsorship. Prior to the pandemic situation, event creators mostly depended on celebrities for many successful events. But now the scenario has changed. Now in this virtual world, a lot of influencers are available with millions of followers. So if you want to attract brand sponsorship to virtual events, then make sure that Influencers are either invited to the event or you have their backing for the event.”
The winner will receive an Amazon gift voucher worth Rs.5,000, courtesy Whistling Woods International.
The top three responses for the second contest were from Patnaik, Sailesh Raghupati and Krati Jain.
