IISM Collaborates with Shaju Ignatius to Launch Post Graduate Program in Sports Event Management

International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) has launched its novel program- Post-Graduate Program in Sports Event Management (PGPSEM) in collaboration with Shaju Ignatius, an Event Management Industry Veteran, and Founder Director- The Ignite Enterprise. Right from the principles of Event Management which is universal in nature to then coming to the core that is Sports Event Management, this 11-month PGP offered by IISM will instill knowledge as well as skills required to become a competent Sports Event Manager. This program is the real amalgamation of classroom learning and on-field Sports Events Exposure.

According to FICCI Sector Skill Council Report 2014, Sports Event Management requires 3.3 Lakh human resources by the year 2022. This sector in India is rapidly growing with the advent of numerous sporting events.

Shaju has been part of the Experiential Marketing & Events Industry for about 25 years now and has led in managing and executing numerous sporting events. His company- The Ignite Enterprise is primarily a project management and content creation company for the various entertainment domains of Live events, Sports, Theatre, Digital, Television & Cinema.
IISM and Shaju have collaborated by effectually transforming their extensive and varied experience into curating the course content of PGP in Sports Events Management.
