National Academy of Media and Events (NAME) EEMA India International Event Designers Expo Science City Grounds, Kolkata
The International Event Designers Expo (International EDEX) 2019 took place in the Science City Grounds, Kolkata on December 13th and December 25th 2019. It was an initiative by the National Academy of Media and Events (NAME) in association with EEMA India.
India’s first-ever B2C Exhibition, Conference and Awards Show only for the event planners was a big success and was big talk of the town as well as in the event industry. Many Event Companies participated as an exhibitor for showcasing their concepts and services and reputed event planners from all around India visited the Expo and shared their valuable experiences with the future event planners and the other guest.
The event was graced by the presence of many renowned event planners who were the guest speakers in the talk shows curated during the exhibition. Some of the renowned names from Event and Entertainment Industry were Reema Sanghvi, Managing Director, Maximus MICE and Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and co-founder of Pinkathon; Vivek Singh, Joint MD, Procam International Pvt. Ltd. and co-founder of TATA Marathon; Deepak Choudhary, Director, Event Capital; Vijay Bokadia, Director, Moksh Events Pvt. Ltd.; Lalit Gattani, CEO, Showcraft Productions Pvt. Ltd.; Pramod Lunawat, Founder and CEO, Millennium Events; Gautam Jain, Founder, Real Reel Pvt. Ltd, and Raju Sharma, Founder, Cosmos Events. There were also renowned guest wedding planners like Chetan Vohra, Director, Weddingline Events; Nidhi Poddar, Owner, Emerald Events; Vinod Bhandhari, Founder, Wedding xtraordinaire; Chitvan Jaipuria, Director, CJ’s Events; Ushoshi Sengupta - Miss Universe India, 2010 to name a few. The talk shows took place every evening during the 13 days Expo.
International EDEX was the special attraction in the City of Joy as it was for the first time that an exhibition was organized just for the event industry in India International Mega Trade Fair. Hence, for the unique initiative, International Event Designer Expo was awarded the Best Pavilion Award by India International Mega Trade Fair (IIMTF) which was organized by G. S. Marketing on the awards ceremony held on the December 25th 2019. The students of the National Academy of Media and Events (NAME) also played a very major role in the execution of the mega event under the supervision of Amaresh Singh, Co-founder-NAME and Curator- International EDEX and B.K. Mantri, Co-founder NAME and Chairman -International EDEX.
Inside International EDEX, there were lots of event managers who were exhibiting their concepts to the crowd entering the pavilion. Some of the big event management companies who exhibited their concepts were Anand Events, Lotus Creations, Cosmos Events, Karyakram Events, ABP Weddings (One stop weddings), Utsav Creations, Focus Events Infra Service Provider, The Event Originators, Holiday Inn, Chiya Tours and travels, and many more. All exhibitors are recognized and awarded for participating in the International Event Designer Expo.
There was good hospitality done by Rajkutir Boutique Hotel, Swabhumi to make the guests feel comfortable and special. Alongside this, Anand Event was a great support in terms of all the co-located events that happened during the expo. EEMA India again came up with huge support in the collaboration of most of the renowned Speakers from the Event Industry.
The Curator of the Expo, Amaresh Singha, and B.K. Mantry, Chairman said, “We have got overwhelming response in this new initiative where students and entire team of Kolkata and Mumbai of National Academy of Media and Events have joined together and came up with their wholehearted support to bring the renowned Event Planners together for the growth and development of the Event Industry specifically in Easter part of India. We will again come up with new ideas in this endeavor to get more collaboration and support keeping the same mission and vision in the year 2020.”
The event ended with a huge celebration after the grand success in the first edition of the International Event Designers Expo, 2019.
