The 12th edition of WOW Awards Asia 2020, will celebrate the best work of the last decade (2010 - 2019). The region’s largest business & recognition platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, Live Entertainment & Wedding Industry is scheduled for an extended reality award ceremony on Friday, 31st July 2020 in light of the global pandemic.
This year we are pleased to announce the WOW Decade Awards to recognize the best events done in the decade that has just finished! The 6 categories of awards will celebrate Campaigns / Events / Activities / Initiatives of brands, corporations, associations, government bodies executed between 1st January 2010 to 31st December 2019. Take a look at the list of categories:
- Brand Experience of the Decade includes a campaign that exemplifies the use of the experiential marketing medium in the best manner with the objective of promoting a brand.
- Live Entertainment Event of the Decade consists of a large-format festival/concert/event with the main aspect of engagement being entertainment (music/art/culture/lifestyle).
- Special Event of the Decade covers a live event/ceremony done for government, association or federation to mark an achievement, occasion, a milestone.
- Wedding Celebration of the Decade comprises of a wedding celebration that stood out on the parameters of design, management, entertainment, execution, and impact.
- MICE Event of the Decade includes an experience/event designed for any stakeholder (employee, dealer, trade) of a company with the objective to celebrate an achievement/milestone/other momentous occasions or to incentives/motivate/recognize.
- Intellectual Property of the Decade covers an on-ground event/activation that has been created as a recurring/sustainable property, taking place annually year-on-year.
Each entry on WOW Dacade Awards has to be described basis an executive summary explaining why it should be the event of the decade, brief/objective, concept, execution and results.
With a two-phased judging process by jury members, audited and validated by KPMG, awards will be announced during the glittering ceremony. Each Jury member is selected from complementing backgrounds with extensive experience in the industry to ensure complete transparency in the judging process. Jury members are particularly very knowledgeable and thus have an upper hand in deciding the most deserving winner.
