Sunburn Festival Vagator, Goa Percept Live Klassique Events Goa

This year the 13th edition of the largest Asian Music Festival- Sunburn saw enthusiasts of music from all around the country come to Vagator. Sunburn Goa 2019 was curated by Percept Live in association with Klassique Events Goa. The Festival had stellar production, six massive stages, assorted adventure zones, a lively flea market, a lip-smacking food zone, and a dynamic camping site.

Sunburn focus was an old school carnival theme with the festive freakishness at its’ peak this year. With a circus-like leitmotif, the festival was aesthetically very captivating with mammoth size jokers, elephant heads, sun cranium and ornately decorated manuscripts capturing previous editions stage names such as Dance Garden, Dance Temple, Empire Of The Sun and Space Station. The Main Stage, over 350 feet large, lit up by over 50,000 sq.ft of LEDs complete with pyros, SFX, lighting, confetti’s and installations

Day one gained momentum quickly with the finest artists appealing to the country's millennials through assorted dance music genres. It served as a hotspot with an eclectic mix of fashion, music, gastronomy, adventure and much more. While day one was a magical mix of breath-taking production, choreographed acts and a phenomenal lineup of artists.

What started as a relaxed Saturday on the sunny sands of Vagator with performances by Candice Redding, Siana Catherine and NDS in the afternoon was soon succeeded by a thumping evening with eclectic performances by Jetfire, Ellie Prohan and Ritviz. Day two left the audience spellbound!

The third day of the festival was outstanding and precisely the way a concluding night should be. The music, the ambiance, the production, the vibe, and the overwhelming excitement and love of the fans fitted into a memorable storyline seamlessly.

Martin Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS made a debut at the festival with a dedicated stage featuring a line-up comprising of Brooks, Julian Jordan, Loopers and Justin Mylo who literally created a storm with their mysterious upbeat soundscapes.

Over the three days, a slew of Sunburn After Dark parties featuring Maceo Plex, Luciano, Jeremy Olander, Coyu, Oliver Huntmann took place at Hammerzz, Las Olas, Owl, Re: Fresh, Sunburn Beach Lounge, LR Beach Lounge, Antares, Plan B, and W Goa each night right after the performances ended and ensured that while the performances had to end, the energy didn’t have to wind down for Sunburn fans.

Karan Singh, COO, Percept Live states, “Sunburn Goa 2019 was truly historical in every aspect. This has definitely been one of the larger than life editions ever held.
