India Inclusion Summit Radisson Blu, Bengaluru
The 8th edition of India Inclusion Summit took place on November 16th and 17th, 2019 at Radisson Blu, Bengaluru. IIS was conceptualized to celebrate the abilities of eight artists with special needs, the exhibit was a unique experience for all guests. Visitors were blindfolded and had to imagine the paintings that were tactile-enabled, braille-enabled, and audio-enabled before the blindfolds were removed.

EvenFlow Experiences, a Bengaluru-based event firm, created bespoke designs for the summit this year and gave attendees an exhilarating experience. The evening set the ball rolling with personal stories shared by Ferose, Sriram Raghavan, Prathap Ram and many more. From award-winning actor-director Nandita Das, to the youngest philosopher Nayan; from writer Jo Chopra to social entrepreneur Mohan Sundaram - a range of speakers came together and shared their thoughts on inclusion and accessibility.

The event also saw some performances by Prathap Ram, Vishwas KS, as well as celebrated musicians like M. Chandrasekaran, and Grammy-winner Ricky Kej. International percussionist Bickram Ghosh and his band members took the stage and gave an enthralling performance.

From 2012 to the 8th edition this year, the mission of IIS has evolved from spreading awareness about the abilities of differently-abled people to celebrating these very talents and felicitating their achievements in various fields. The community gathered once again to give a platform to the unheard voices and unseen talents of differently-abled people and encourage us all to move forward together in all walks of life.
