Bira 91 has announced the appointment of Deepak Malhotra as the Senior Vice President, Sales, India, to its executive leadership team. Deepak will bring with him significant scale-up experience in the alcobev industry. 

With over 22 years of experience in the world of beverages, Deepak has successfully held multiple sales and marketing positions with a proven track record in growing businesses profitably, turning around markets and delivering targets. Deepak was most recently Director of Sales at AB Inbev. Prior to that, Deepak was the COO for a diversified Indian business in the alcobev space – a $250m spirits player based out of Tamil Nadu. 

Speaking of the appointment, Ankur Jain, Founder & CEO, Bira 91, said, “I am excited to bring an experienced hand like Deepak Malhotra to our team. In his previous stints at SAB Miller, ABI and Beam Global, he brings in the considerable experience of scaling alcobev brands in the country – having done this multiple times in the career already.
