EEMA Joins the Cause to #StampOutStigma Around Mental Health with MPower WOW

The Event and Entertainment Management Association of India (EEMA) has joined hands with MPower WOW, pioneered by Wizcraft and the WOW Awards.  The association will champion the initiative and help facilitate information, promotion of knowledge-sharing, and workshops to educate and help members and event industry professionals to fight the challenges being posed by mental health. 

EEMA would encourage members to participate in the MPower WOW Auction for artist performances that have been pledged in support of the cause to help its members. 

Speaking about partnering this much needed initiative, Sanjoy Roy, President EEMA, said: "Mental health is a key concern in our industry and I cannot stress enough on the importance of the long-term development of professionals in the industry, especially those in stressful situations. Addiction too continues to be a major issue in fast-paced industries like our own, and as EEMA we’re honoured to partner Wizcraft, MPower and further strengthen our partnership with WOW, through this initiative and address this as a growing concern."

Further, on June 29, at the finale of the WOW Awards Asia, a pledge would be signed to #StampOutStigma with MPower, Wizcraft, EEMA and WOW.

In addition, EEMA will continue its partnership with the initiative through the promotions and the workshops planned as part of the awareness creation drive for Mental Health in the event industry. Additionally, a workshop will be held at EEMAgine as well, where jointly Wizcraft, WOW and EEMA will carry forward an activity to further raise awareness and funds for MPower in support of this cause.
