Toast Events managed the Roadster Go launch in Bangalore with a turn around time of less than 10 days. Roadster GO, a wholly owned Myntra brand, opened their first ever speed shopping store in India, fully integrated with Myntra prices and technology that allows customers to complete billing and check out in 30 seconds. It’s a perfect marriage of shopping and technology.

Vipul Baradia, Client Servicing, Toast Events said, “Creating an experience for India’s first ever speed shopping store was exciting. Putting up the event in a week’s time was quite challenging. Every activity was detailed out considering the time restriction.”

Toast Events was roped in for creating an experiential event and to create a buzz in the city about the newest and first-speed shopping store in Bangalore. TOAST created an exclusive shopping preview for digital influencers a day before the main launch. Targeting the right influencers for the brand was the most important aspect considering it was first of a kind store and needs to have right kind of buzz in the city. The challenge was to generate footfalls on the day of the event with the right target audiences. To generate excitement in the mall for a few days before the event, we had BMX stunt riders showcase their stunts in the mall, also drawing alliance to the biker nature of the brand.

Drawing on the target audience’s preferences, we also worked with a like-minded influencer – Priyanka Kochar to launch the store. She invited her fans to be a part of the launch experience, and people turned up in hordes to get a chance to shop on the first day of the new store.

The event was hosted by Emcee Bharat Jain, who shares his experience commenting, "This event was my first event in Bangalore for Myntra and with Toast Events. Being a Lifestyle event a lot of millennials came in and it was fun. Besides, I learned Kannada as well for this event. Thanks to everyone at Toast for this one, had a great time rocking Bangalore look forward to many more there."

Karan Kapoor, Operations Head, Toast Events said, “Bringing in the right kind of BMX riders was to be tapped as ROADSTER is a grungy and outgoing brand. As the brand was launching its first offline store, execution of the activity was really crucial”

Dipti Potdar, Creative, Toast Events said, “Working on the project was really enjoyable as the brand gave us the liberty to visualise the overall look, design and conceptualize the whole event which for a designer is very exciting.”
