International MICE & Wedding Forum In Antalya Witnesses Participation From Over 60 Countries

The third organisation of the International MICE & Wedding Forum (IMWF) held in Antalya at the Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek kicked off with over 50 hotels, airline companies, industry suppliers, and executives from 60 countries attended the Forum, which will continue until June 1st. IMWF sponsored by Turkish Airlines and Titanic Hotels opened on Tuesday, May 29 with the opening remarks of KKTC Tourism and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoglu and Antalya Governor Münir Karaloğlu. 

IMWF Executive Partner Fuat Ersoy made the opening speech of the Forum and gave information to the participants in the forum, pointing out that the market share of  Turkey has increased in within the reaching 1 trillion dollars international market of MICE and wedding. He said, "Next 3 days, you will spend time in the panels and participate the forums. We will try to make everything fun and crazy. You are going to ask me why? ‘’Why’’ is a lifestyle. We're here to make new friends. Our aim is to create true friendships among ourselves.”

He also added, "So far, the event held in Turkey for tourism a had the highest number of participants and it is the highest number of participants for IMWF events. Hosting the IMWF makes us very happy and proud. With IMWF, we believe that we have had a unique experience in Turkey. We will host over 300 agencies from 60 countries for 4 days in Antalya. As a country and a city, we are hosting a very important event. So far, participants from abroad had very positive thoughts."

I am very grateful to the IMWF for bringing me in Antalya". Stating that the event will be an economic bridge, Joseph stressed that the IMWF is a unique concept and a great opportunity.
