OMCPL Worli Festival
The 4th edition of the Worli Festival ended on April 30, 2018 after three days of a cultural extravaganza that included performances by local artists, musicians, a flea market, and food court. Produced by OMCPL, in association with MTDC and Shree Sankalp Pratishthan, the festival was held at the Worli Sea Face promenade in Mumbai.

The festival featured performances by Euphony, Sunita Rao, Nine Lives, Clince Collective, MH43, DJ Cyrus, Milind Date, Shibani Kashyap, and Taufiq Qureshi. Local artists also put up varied performances. The energy of the performances and the music remained at a high tempo throughout the three-day festival.

A Food Zone was designated for those who wanted to catch a quick bite during or after the performances. Apart from the famous Mumbai street foods, it also catered to Italian and Chinese fare. A mini-flea market featured cottage industry products and local handicrafts from NGOs.

This time the festival also featured a unique attraction for kids — a gaming area designed with the concept of ‘Relive your Childhood’. It offered games like Mini Golf, Snake and Ladders, Noughts and Crosses, and Hopscotch. A special fitness session with BollyActive Fitness was organised.

Talking about the festival, Mr. Rahul Gomes, MD, OMCPL said, “The Worli Festival started in 2013 and this year was its 4th edition. We have created an event that is now an annual fixture for the people of Mumbai. This year we had a really eclectic mix of artists with independent performers, bands, and the Bollyactive fitness programme. There was a flea and food market. We also started the novel concept of a gaming area with the 'Relive the childhood'’ theme, which proved to be a big hit with both adults and children. Watch this space next year, we’ll be back with a show that is even bigger and better than before!”

All in all, the festival offered something for everyone — pulsating music, shopping, food and games!
