2018 will mark the 10th edition of the region's largest recogintion platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, LIVE Entertainment & Wedding indsutry (watch the 2017 video).

WOW Awards Asia 2018 is scheduled for 28-30 June in New Delhi Aerocity and features 100 award categories in 5 groups making it the most holistic celebration of excellence in every aspect of creating memorable experiences. 

Meet the esteemed Jury members of Group B. Experiential Celebrations which features 16 categories covering aspcts such at decor and design, entertainment, use and integration of destination, etc. for weddings and social events. 

1. Sheetal Munshaw
Director - Atout France India

Sheetal Munshaw - Director Atout France in India started her career in the travel industry as a journalist with the Indian Express. Her job included travel writing for trade tabloids and business publications as well as managing India's first business travel magazine. After developing a penchant for the travel industry she got into mainstream tourism establishing her career in international destination marketing. In her capacity as Manager Marketing Western Region, she represented Canada and then moved onto  the erstwhile Maison de la France office as Promotions Manager and later as Deputy Director.  In 2011 she founded Avant Garde Consulting which promoted a kaleidoscope of discerning travel brands such as Chamonix Mont-Blanc and the Private Collection of Portugal besides other luxury travel brand entities. In her current role as Director Atout France India, she looks forward to forging ahead with successful associations between France as a leading travel destination of choice for the discerning traveler and befitting luxury players, influencers, travel professionals and media personalities to further strengthen the ties between travel, art de vivre and the luxe space which are more amalgamated now than ever before. 

2. Rajshree Bakshi
Vice President, Marketing - Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris

Rajshree is an experienced hospitality professional with over 18 years of hospitality insights. She has a master’s in marketing and finance and joined the Taj in 1997. Overseeing the company’s worldwide marketing, brand communication, advertising and Loyalty-CRM, Rajshree plays a role in balancing the structured, analytical thinking of science, plus the creative processes of communications, with a bottom-line focus of finance. Her career highlights include setting up the first online customer feedback system for Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris, the first Sales force automation system and also the first enterprise level data warehouse system as a stepping stone to customer analysis.

3. Dinesh Vazirani
Co-Founder-  Saffronart

Dinesh joined his wife Minal Vazirani in developing Saffronart in 2000, after taking a sabbatical from his family businesses, WMI cranes and WMI power. Since then, he has led the organisation in providing access and information to seasoned collectors, institutions and a new community of art enthusiasts. Saffronart has become a leading global corporation committed to the arts and a proponent of Indian art internationally by developing a series of critically-acclaimed exhibitions, events and auctions, that provide buyers with a transparent, professional environment in which to transact. Dinesh's alma mater, the Harvard Business School, published a case study on the company that continues to be studied by MBA students there today.

4. Raien Naraghi
Business Development Manager - ME & India

Raien Naraghi has nearly 10 years of international experience in event production and execution. Starting in Vancouver in 2010 he joined Badbird Media to create various trade shows and quickly built a repertoire that led him to produce music festivals for the city municipality. In 2014, he left home to pursue a graduate management degree in France following which he started working at Disney Business Solutions, a division of Disneyland Paris.  In 2016, Disneyland Paris's Exclusive Events  appointed Raien as the Business Development Manager for Middle East and India for which he continues to this day. This will be his second year attending WOW AWARDS. 

5. Tristan Beau De Lomenie
Director Of Operations - Luxe Hotels India
General Manager Delegate - Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity

The Director of Operations Luxe Hotels India, Accor Hotels, Tristan in his role as the General Manager Delegate was responsible for unveiling AccorHotels flagship project, Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity. As the General Manager Delegate he aims to create great synergy for the two brands, especially for hosting large conventions, Tristan also aims to establish the hotels by promoting innovative F&B concepts, on a regular basis. In his role at Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity, he aspires to build and maintain a team that continuously strives to improve its service standards, providing the best hospitality experience to guests.

6. Antony Page
General Manager - Ritz-Carlton Bangalore

Antony is a seasoned global hospitality professional, having worked in several global destinations. His association with Marriott started in 2005 where he was the Hotel Manager at Sydney Harbour Marriott. In September 2006, Antony became the General Manager of Melbourne Marriott Hotel and then moved to Singapore Marriott in November, 2009 as the General Manager. With a consistently ascending career graph, Antony served as the opening Director of Food & Beverage for Sydney Convention and Exhibition Center. In October 1997 Antony went back to Starwood Hotel group for a period of eight years post which his journey with Marriott commenced.

7. Parthip Thyagarajan 
CEO - WeddingSutra

Parthip Thyagarajan is the CEO of WeddingSutra, India’s leading wedding media company and the most popular bridal media brand that provides comprehensive wedding information and inspiration to a targeted audience of smart, spirited, and sophisticated couples. With over 21 years of experience in digital media, Thyagarajan is a highly sought-after speaker and strategist in the Wedding market. A commerce graduate from the Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, and an MBA from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Thyagarajan began his career with The Times of India group and worked there for 4 years after which he co-founded WeddingSutra.

8. Arif Patel
Vice President Sales, Marketing and Distribution, India - Accor Hotels 

Arif Patel is the Vice President Sales, Marketing and Distribution for the India region, Accor Hotels. An industry Sales and Marketing veteran, Arif comes with over two decades of rich experience with leading brands that include ITC hotels and Oberoi hotels. Before accepting this role at Accor Hotels, Arif was the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, South Asia for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. A proven leader, Arif brings strong credentials in Sales, Revenue, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Loyalty and Distribution Management, Branding and Strategic partnerships.
