EEMA Gears Up to Host an Inter-Agency Football Tournament ‘EEMA Futsal League’

The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), country’s apex organization for the events and experiential marketing ecosystem has recently announced that it will be hosting ‘EEMA Futsal League’- a first of its kind, inter-agency football tournament on Feb 24th, 2018 at Andheri West in Mumbai.
Futsal is a variant of association football played on a hard court which is smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. The game is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
To participate in EEMA Futsal League a team must have a 5 players + 2 substitutes (Minimum of 1 Celebrity and 1 female player) and two different agencies can collaborate to form a team for the same. The last date of registration for the tournament is February 3, 2018.
Commenting on the tournament EEMA President, Sabbas Joseph shared, “The EEMA Futsal League will help engage the industry’s professionals in a fun sport. While most meet in the corridors of our clients while waiting for a business pitch, this would be a fun platform to build bonds and closer ties. We are all looking forward to Futsal…new heroes will be born.”
Tabassum Modi, Vice President – EEMA West, shared, "We are very excited to put this inter agency tournament together for the first time in the West zone. The league aims at building a platform to bring our teams together and build a sense of camaraderie between the agencies. The initial response has been very encouraging and a lot of agencies have signed up already. It's time to gather our competitive spirit to show who is the best on the sports field."
