Media Expo 2017 Closes Deals in its 41st Edition in Delhi

Covering 12,445 sqm of space, 186 exhibitors from India, China and Korea, Media Expo 2017 in Delhi showcased technological advancements attracting 12,639 business visitors. The event proved to be beneficial for both exhibitors and visitors with halls packed and brimming with fruitful discussions. And with another successful edition of Media Expo, Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding Ltd., shared – “The robust growth of media and entertainment industry in India indicates that the country is ready to adapt the enormous possibilities this sector has to offer. Media Expo as an exhibition knows the importance of this sector and perfectly serves the purpose as a comprehensive platform where companies exhibiting showcase an array of advanced solutions and eco-friendly options for traditional media. This edition of Media Expo again has generated a good level of enquiries with many striking deals on all three days of the show.”

Smarth Bansal, Senior Product Manager, Colorjet India Ltd, also shared his excitement – “Media Expo has been a great platform for us as it adds a lot of value to the brand. This year again, we are very pleased with the kind of visitor response we have received at the exhibition. Also, we are very happy to announce that we have closed more than 100 deals for Solvent, Eco Solvent and UV Printers in three days flat at Media Expo 2017, Delhi, which marks record sales in the history of Media Expo.” Media Expo also successfully positioned itself as a platform that helps exhibitors in increasing their brand awareness and their geographical market reach. The exhibition halls were buzzing with business discussions, negotiations, and live demonstrations by various machines and bright LED displays that kept the crowd enticed. Exhibitors and visitors both seemed convinced on Media Expo being an influential platform in the advertising, marketing, signage and printing industry as it brings the top buyers, decision makers and influencers together under one roof. Shamrendra Kumar, Business Head - Graphics, Avery Dennison India Pvt Ltd shared: “We get to see new products entering the market here.”

A few visitors at Media Expo reckoned that the fair provided unmatched options of a single product in terms of technology and price. Mr Niglish, a signage trader from Gujrat said – “This is my second visit to Media Expo and both years have been wonderful. It’s been a year since I entered in this industry and finding so many exhibitors and the kind of facilities that this platform provides is something we can’t get at other exhibitions. A single product like flex also has about seven to eight different suppliers, which is not easily available online or in other exhibitions. Here, we get to see the samples, touch them, talk to the owners directly, and close the deals. I would suggest people belonging to this industry to visit the show once as it will be of great help to them.” Easy availability of upgraded technology in printers and other solutions was another high point of the three-day event. Other technological developments that caught visitors’ attention were UV Flatbed Printer, PVC-free solutions, backlit flex and LED options, channel letter printers and many more.

The next edition of Media Expo will take place from 22 – 24 February at Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E), Mumbai.

The event generated maximum inquiries with many striking deals on all three days.
