After the success of the Mirchi Silent Party and winning the WOW Awards in Silver Category this year, Vaktra Silent Disco executed the first-ever Silent Garba in India, which was hosted at the Rajmahal Banquets, Malad, Mumbai.
This first-of-its-kind Silent Garba catered to over 10,000 guests who grooved on the tunes of Gujarati Folk Music till 4 a.m. every morning from September 21 to Oct 1, 2017.
The event was the talk of the town and was covered by prominent newspapers, Radio Channel and News Channels. The event went viral on Social media and also on WhatsApp announcing it as a unique trend to celebrate Navratri without being a menace for the city police.
Ganesh Chavan, Director of Vaktra Silent Disco, addressed the press conference and mentioned that Mumbaikars have been enjoying Navratri till wee hours after a very long time. Mainly because of this stupendous technology as there was no adherence to the 10 p.m. deadline.
Each day started with a live orchestra by outstanding Gujarati singers who sang Gujarati Garba Folk Music followed by the Silent Garba till dawn.
The crème de la crème moment of this evening were the three different music genres, Gujrati Garba, Bollywood music and EDM playing simultaneously. We had celebrities attending this event and also enjoying the concept and quoted it as a one of its kind.
Vaktra Silent Disco also executed 'Silent Garba' at various other locations as a one day event at Viviana Mall Thane (Mumbai), Korakendra Borivali (Mumbai), Seawood Central Mall (Mumbai), and Treasure Island Mall (Indore).
This first-ever Silent Garba took place at the Rajmahal Banquets, Malad, Mumbai from September 21 - October 1, catering to over 10 thousand guests.
