Vishal Dadlani, Ehsaan Noorani and Other Artists Support News18.com’s ‘Music for a Cause’ Event

News18.com collaborated with Music Basti, a Delhi based NGO, for their ReSound concert, which took place yesterday at the Garden of Five Senses, New Delhi. The evening was an ode to music while providing 250 young children of Delhi's Music Basti NGO a platform to showcase their singing talents as they performed original songs about peace. At the end of the concert, the children were felicitated with autographed music instruments curated from renowned Indian Musicians. Vishal Dadlani was one of the many popular musicians who have pledged their support.

Musicians like Ehsaan Noorani, Mohit Chauhan, and The Other Band also supported the cause by donating their music instruments.

Throwing light on how this campaign can be an effective tool to reach out to larger audiences and create awareness, Vishal Dadlani said, “I am giving a guitar to someone with the aim of transforming their life. My first guitar was given to me by an uncle. The guitar was the turning point of my life, and it holds a very special place in my life. My musical journey actually started from there. I just hope that it is the similar kind of experience for the person who receives this.”
