Mercedes-Benz India Up On The Stage Marine Drive

The morning of November 27, 2016, hustled and bustled with an enthusiastic crowd, having a strong passion for vintage cars that flocked towards Marine Drive, Mumbai to see an array of Classic Mercedes Cars that drove past, accelerating chills down the spines of the audience.

Back by popular demand, an annual affair, the Mercedes Classic Car Rally in partnership with Autocar India was successfully organized celebrating efficaciously in its third year. First organized in 2014 to commemorate Mercedes-Benz’s 120 years of motorsport, the participation at the rally has grown immensely over the last two years having participants flocking from not just Mumbai and Pune but also traveling from as far as Delhi, Bengaluru, Kutch, Chandigarh and Goa.

The one-day event showcased models from every Mercedes platform and every generation of the flagship from the 1930's to the 1990's. The cars were chronologically displayed and showcased at Nariman Point, followed by a drive to Bandra and back, which was flagged off by Roland Folger MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. The rally had a turnout of 100 plus participants flaunting their exquisitely maintained Classic Mercedes models.

Up On The Stage, an event vertical of ABSC Entertainment successfully handled the entire event end-to-end after detailed planning and execution and managed to pull off a successful Mercedes Classic Car Rally 2016 in collaboration with Autocar India.
