Salt Experiences and Management executed the Go Gold Campaign for NGO CanKids KidsCan from September 25 to 27 at Taj Mahal compound, Agra. This cancer-survivor-led awareness campaign by CanKids KidsCan (National Society for Change for Childhood Cancer in India) was held for the first time in India.

Taj Mahal replicas decorated by children affected with cancer were showcased at the three-day exhibition, and 35 cancer centres participated in the entire campaign. Over1500 children along with their families attended from across the country.

Salt designed 5 different sections to encourage involvement as well as to showcase the best efforts towards the cause. Each section was dedicated to the theme so as to ensure that the meaning and purpose of the event is communicated to each and every person. The 5 sections were titled ‘Its Curable’; ‘Wah Taj-Yaadein Rahey Taaja, Taj Rahey Yaad!; ‘Sun Raha Hai Taj’; ‘Chattai Theraphy’; and ‘We are Here’.

This exhibition was inaugurated by the Agra District Magistrate Gaurav Dayal. During these 3 days, people also signed a pledge and were given golden ribbons so as to create awareness about child cancer and the fact that it is curable. The exhibition received an overwhelming response and was well appreciated by the audience.

This cancer-survivor-led awareness campaign by CanKids KidsCan took place from September 25 to 27 at Taj Mahal compound, Agra.
