AccorHotels Launch Their First ibis in Hyderabad

AccorHotels, one of the world’s largest and leading hotel operators, yesterday announced the opening of ibis Hyderabad HITEC City, taking the group’s presence to five hotels in the city. The group is now the largest hotel operator in Hyderabad with a room inventory of over a thousand rooms.

Hotel Specifications

ibis Hyderabad HITEC City features 178 rooms and is strategically located in the heart of HITEC city, the largest IT Park in the country, home to some of the world’s leading technology corporations. The hotel is a short drive from the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, one of India’s premier meetings and events venues, making it the preferred destination for the MICE market.

The hotel offers a selection of food and beverage outlets to choose from, including Spice It, its signature multi-cuisine restaurant providing an all-day breakfast concept. The restaurant will work on the 24-hour concept. Additionally, the property also offers a lounge bar area, The Hub, which provides a wide selection of beverages and light snacks.

Corporate guests can choose to host their private functions and events from two modern and stylish meeting rooms with state-of-the-art technology. The meeting rooms can accommodate 50 guests in theater style seating and 30 guests in cluster arrangement.

However, the hotel disappoints on the social events front as the property does not have a banqueting space to make it a viable choice for events with larger audiences.

Situated in the heart of Hyderabad’s HITEC city, ibis Hyderabad HITEC City is the 13th ibis to open in India. The hotel is centrally located at the entrance of HITEC city close to HICC & HITEX, Google, Novartis, Facebook corporate offices and surrounding IT companies. It is 35 Kms from the Rajiv Gandhi International airport and 15 minutes from the Inorbit and Forum Sujana mall.

The opening of its first economy hotel in the global city of Hyderabad marks a milestone for AccorHotels which now has 42 hotels in India across a well-rounded portfolio of luxury, midscale, boutique and in-demand economy brands.
