EEMA Sabbas Joseph Event Show Asia

An exclusive gathering of EEMA Members and Event Industry professionals came together at True Tramm Trunk in Juhu, Mumbai on Apr 12, 2016 for the grand launch of Event Show Asia - Asia's Definitive Marketplace For Event Sourcing. An initiative by EVENTFAQS in association with Event & Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), the inaugural edition of the exhibition is co-located with WOW Awards & Convention Asia 2016 and will be held from June 23 to 25, at Hotel Pullman and Hotel Novotel in New Delhi Aerocity. 

With a mission to elevate the planning process and bring together Event Planners and Service Providers on one common Business Conducive platform, Event Show Asia is off to an exciting start with a grand launch attended by the who’s who of the Indian event industry including agency and artists management professionals, artists, leading rental companies, service providers, and EEMA Members. 

EEMA President Sabbas Joseph delivered the keynote address at the event, while EVENTFAQS’ Vishal Nagdev introduced the platform to the exclusive gathering, followed by an open mic for the guests. Emcee Sheena Chohan kept the engagement LIVE. 

Ferriswheel’s Shubhra Bharadwaj and OMCPL’s Rahul Gomes were lauded for their recent achievements with the IPL Opening Ceremony and Worli Festival, respectively.

2015 saw 923 delegates converge at WOW Awards and Convention. 1200+ are estimated to attend the 2016 edition with close to 200 from important markets such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and other parts of Asia and the World. 

The Event Show Asia Summit features a combination of Key Notes, Panel Discussions and Demo / Workshops, allowing individuals to connect, interact, inspire, and be Inspired! Certification courses regarding aspects of Sound, Video, Production Management, and Lighting & Trussing will be available for the attendees. In addition, Masterclasses for skills development from experts in specific disciplines related to the events industry will also be imparted. As for the WOW Awards Asia, this year’s edition features 70 categories divided into 5 groups encompassing every aspect of the MICE, LIVE Marketing, Entertainment & Social Events.
