The 6th edition of the 'Grazia Young Fashion Awards' was held on April 7 at The Westin Garden City, Mumbai. Celebrating in creative collaboration was the team at Toast Events, as they executed the night with a fantastic turnout of guests from the fashion and film fraternity. 

As the fashion magazine paid the homage to exceptional women with fantastic achievements across all fields, it also dedicated the evening to 2016’s winners of the Grazia Young Fashion Awards. Toast created a plan showcasing Grazia in its true form with elements and designs presenting the brand ethos and hues. 

The night opened with a fitting anthem by Manasi Scott and smoothly flowed into the event with the awards ceremony. The awards were followed by a runway show presenting Pepe Jeans’ Spring-Summer 2016 collection. However, bringing in a twist to the showcase this year were celebrities from different walks of life. These included Ali Fazal, Ashiesh Shah, Arjun Kanungo, Elton Fernandez, Vicky Kaushal, Kunal Rawal, Miss Malini, Priyanka Bose, Gabriella Demetriades, Radhika Apte, and Shilarna Vaz.

The set design presented abstract blend of creative surfaces with a huge trophy of the Grazia Young Fashion Awards. Engagement activities were set in the pre-function area, where guests could participate and have fun as they eased into the night.

The guests in attendance also included the muses of the GYFA awards who walked the ramp along with them. In addition, there were also the award presenters like Sabina Chopra, Jatin Kampani, Pernia Qureshi, Colston Julian, Anita Dongre, Amrita Puri, Troy Costa, Wendell Rodricks, Suneet Verma, Ayushman Khurrana, Atul Kasbekar and Sonakshi Sinha.

On executing the Grazia Young Fashion Awards, Michelle Sanghvi, Client Servicing Lead – Toast Events, said, “This event has always been really close to us as we experiment with new and fun approaches year on year. Lending completely refreshing feel from the last year, we created a more suave yet fun experience, keeping the focus on the winners and the fashion presentation.”
