Cream Events conceptualized and managed the SAMN (South Asia Micro-Entrepreneurs Network) Conclave 2016 at the Taj Palace on March 8-9, 2016. The event saw over 350 delegates and 51 speakers from various South Asian countries. The India chapter of the global conference was hosted by MicroFinance Institutions Network (MFIN).
The conference highlighted innovations in terms of Best Practices in National Financial Inclusion Strategies, Impact Investments, developments in the Microfinance sector and responsible finance across South Asia by improving access to finance.
The conference also provided a platform for thought leaders from South Asia to interact and assess opportunities for regional integration and cross-learning in the financial inclusion space.
From personalized invitations to customized mementos, the experience helped strengthen MFIN India’s strong presence in the South Asian countries. The entire conference took three months of diligent planning, content creation and constant conversations with speakers and delegates.
To ensure smooth and timely delivery of the event, an entire day was dedicated to setup and rehearsals. The audience were engaged in panel discussions with stalwarts from the microfinance industry. The event witnessed the attendance of captains of the Industry and dignitaries such as Anjuly Chib Duggal, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Government of India, Shri. Ashok Swarup, Managing Director, Citi, Supriya Sule, Honorable Member of Parliament, U S Paliwal, Executive Director, RBI, Kiran Karnik, Chairman, Oxfam India, Dilip Cherian, Co-Founder, Perfect Relations, Ratna Vishwanathan, Chief Executive Officer, Microfinance Institutions Network and many more.
