Day two spotlighted the Defence, Space, and Precision Manufacturing Pavilion, positioning India as a rising deep-tech leader. Amit Satija, IAS, from the Ministry of Defence, emphasized the success of the iDEX program, which has seen investments of over ₹445 crore and targeted ₹50,000 crore in defence exports by 2028-29.
The signing of an MoU between IN-SPACe, DTDF, and DROD marked a key milestone in facilitating defence-space collaborations. Panels on precision manufacturing and space-tech policy featured top voices from government and industry, including Jagathi Priya (IN-SPACe) and Dr. Kumar Abhijeet (MEA), highlighting India’s ambition to build a $44 billion space economy.

Day three solidified India’s defence and space ambitions, with the session "Defence Startups: Growth Engines of Viksit Bharat" featuring industry stalwarts like Ankit Mehta (ideaForge) and Prithwish Kundu (Green Aero). Discussions revolved around building indigenous tech, accelerating R&D, and cross-sector collaborations.
An MoU between NSDC and PDEU to create Centres of Excellence in energy and semiconductor sectors showcased strategic skilling for the future.
The panel on ‘Opportunities in Defence and Space Tech’ saw investors from GrowX Ventures, Yournest, and Java Capital express strong confidence in India’s deep-tech potential, citing policy readiness and global relevance.
Meanwhile, fintech’s intersection with B2B innovation was explored in a thought-provoking session featuring leaders from SIDBI Ventures, Knight FinTech, and Rezolv, emphasizing capital access, regulatory clarity, and B2B growth enablers.
