Chetan Bhagat Inspires Students At Career Utsav ’15; Event Organised By Fuel Media Solutions

The third edition of Bangalore’s premier education fair, Career Utsav 2015, saw an overwhelming response from both students and educators. The event organised by Fuel Media Solutions Pvt Ltd brought together thousands of motivated students, their families, academicians, and teaching staff on a common platform. It also provided an opportunity for colleges, universities, and Institutions to meet prospective and talented students from every nook and corner of the city.

The annual career fair held at Nimhans Convention Centre, on Dec 5-6, 2015, was inaugurated by Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar, Founder Chancellor of SRM University, H.R. Ranganath, Chairman & Managing Director - Public TV, Rajni Mishra, Chief General Manager, (Karnataka), SBI, and Prof. Dr. Nagendra Parashar, Vice Chancellor of Presidency University in the presence of Pradeep Naik, CEO of Fuel Media Solutions. At the inaugural speech, Chetan Bhagat addressed the young audience and asked them to follow their heart and intuition. Inspiring the students, the writer narrated how he himself quit his investment banking career to pursue his love for writing and advised everyone to focus on their interest.

The Education Fair offered unique opportunities for students to know about quality education and choose the best suitable programs and institutions. More than 40+ renowned institutions and Top 10 Universities that participated in the event showcased their niche courses and specialisations. Personalized education counseling, comprehensive information on scholarships and visa formalities, spot scholarship offers, assistance for hassle free education bank loans, application etc. were other highlights of the event.

Commenting on the event, Pradeep Naik, Founder and CEO of Fuel Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said, “The third edition of ‘Career Utsav’ has been designed to provide a platform to offer the best to aspiring students who want to achieve something in life and carve a niche position for themselves in the society. The students also participated in various workshops organized at the exhibition. Mock CET tests for science students and CPT tests for Commerce students were conducted to give them a firsthand experience of facing competitive exams. Free Psychometric tests were also conducted to assess their own personality which would help them choose their careers with ease and train them better. 12 detailed workshops and seminars were conducted on the topics New-age Engineering careers, Medicine in 21st century, All about Overseas education, New Age Engineering Careers, Synergies - the way for a career tomorrow, Designing a Career in Fashion, Design in Digital World, Exam Stress and Change Management, How to score Well in Board exams, Architecture - A promising creative career, Off-beat careers, Trends in Management etc.

The event saw participation from leading universities, big institutions  and organizations like, MVJ College of Engineering, PES University, SRM University, REVA University, Alliance University, Ramaiah Institutions, Manipal University, NITTE University, AIMS, and SBI, among others. State Bank of India supported the event by providing information and various options they have on education loans.

Guidance was also offered to students seeking study options abroad. Free shuttle services were organized across the city to ensure easy commuting to and fro for the event. Close to 50 buses were operating from various parts of the city.
