Pune Fashion Week concludes Season 5 with a new look and heightened luxury

Pune Fashion Week concluded its annual fashion extravaganza from December 19–21, 2014 at Ishanya, Pune. This fifth season saw a brand new look and newer luxury experiences and showcases as part of the events.

Talking on the occasion of PFW Season 5, Badal Saboo, Managing Director, Pune Fashion Week expressed, “It has indeed been our pleasure to host the grand season 5 of Pune Fashion Week. As a property, we have evolved over the years in terms of our offering to the crème de la creme of the city. The first 4 seasons of PFW was spent building up the presence and international design exposure to our audiences. In Season 5, we are stepping up to showcase the superlatives in creativity by celebrated designers of the industry with a mesmerizing experience to cherish which is bound to be one of the history creators for the fashion scene is Pune.’’

The shows on the inaugural day of the fashion week included, ‘Rococo goes Tropical’ by Rajdeep Ranawat followed by Amy Billimoria, unveiling a ‘Earth 21’. Ulka Bafna Vohra showcased her collection ‘NIRBHEEK’, followed by Bhairavi Jaikishan’s collection based on feelings and emotions. The after party for day 1 was held @ F beach house.

Sangeeta Sharma commenced the second day of the Pune Fashion Week, followed by Riddhi & Siddhi. Zanaãya Couture, the brainchild of designer Shougér Merchant Doshi followed up next, leading to Geisha Designs by the duo Shalini Jaikaria and Paras Bairoliya. And drawing a close to day 2 was Nivedita Saboo Couture. The after party for day 2 was held at the blueFrog.

The final day of the PFW included the official launch of 'Face of India 2015', a platform serving  as a career opportunity for aspiring as well as professional models to explore opportunities in Korea as well as other Asian countries.

Anjali Khushlani commenced the evening show, followed by Sharad Raghav. Joy Mitra's collection 'The Music Room' contiued with the showcases, followed up by Satya Paul and finaly Suneet Varma. The after party of the finale was held at Pubtown.

Apart from Fashion shows, guests enjoyed the Arena Exhibition, A Wine and Cheese Fest, Grape Stomping and much more at Season 5 of PFW.
