Senior Event Manager-Events & Weddings
Skills and Experience:-
1. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Events
2. Preferable experience organising weddings and large scale corporate and lifestyle events in India and overseas.
3. Should have an in depth understanding and knowledge of event production and operations and should be able to grasp and oversee hospitality and logistics movements of an event
4. Excellent client relation skills and must be able to network with HNI’s and help with business development to bring in new leads as well as service existing leads for both events and weddings
5. Must be detail oriented, quality conscious and have a good design aesthetic
6. Strong negotiating skills with hotels and vendors
7. Must be able to work under pressure and on various projects simultaneously and autonomously; ability to multi-task is essential.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to manage a large team and ensure smooth operations on ground
10. Strong organisational skill and detail oriented approach
11. Should be comfortable with MS office suite - word/ppt/excel
1. Must be able to handle a large scale turnkey social or corporate event, wedding and conference from pitch stage to completion, including ideation, client servicing, overseeing execution and management of team to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
2. Should be able to oversee and manage all hospitality, production and logistics of a turnkey event
3. Must be able to efficiently manage a large team of production, hospitality, creative and logistics managers and take accountability for the planning and execution of multiple projects and teams simultaneously
4. Should ensure quality control and effective execution and manpower utilisation during the event
5. Should handle billing, payments process and all financial transactions in conjunction with accounts team
