Architect and interior designer Shreya Bohra and Devank Ratadia hosted a three-day destination wedding at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur, combining personal touches with cultural traditions. Planned by Phoenix Events Media Group, the wedding was attended by close friends and family and featured six thoughtfully designed events.
The couple met through their families and immediately connected. Although they initially decided to part ways, a message from Shreya to congratulate Devank on a professional achievement reopened the door to their relationship. During their pre-wedding shoot in Georgia, Devank proposed in the snowy mountains of Gudauri.
The wedding began in Bengaluru with the Reception, Mayra, and Path Bithai, followed by three days of celebrations in Udaipur. The Udaipur events began with Sajjan Ghot, a welcome lunch with baithak-style seating, Rajasthani food, and folk performances, in line with Marwari traditions.
The evening featured a rehearsal dinner, where the couple exchanged personal vows and their families shared a few words. A live acoustic performance closed the evening on a quiet and emotional note.
The next morning, the haldi ceremony followed a Mediterranean Carousal theme. Decor included aqua and sky blue accents, with cane furniture and simple design elements. The sangeet featured 25 choreographed performances, with friends and family participating. DJ Alex played the after-party set.
For the pheras, the couple chose a mandap decorated in pastel tones, set against greenery and hills. Shreya wore a traditional outfit with vibrant jewellery, while the ceremony remained calm and focused on family rituals.
The reception event celebrated Indian craft and heritage. The couple wore deep-toned, handcrafted outfits and were joined by guests on the dancefloor to a live band performance.
