Mumbai Comic Con 2025 to host Indie Game Utsav — To Showcase Made-in-India PC & Console Games

Mumbai Comic Con 2025 is set to host the inaugural edition of Indie Game Utsav, India’s biggest festival dedicated to independently-developed PC and console games. Taking place on April 12-13, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, the event will showcase over 40 high-quality indie games, introducing them to India’s growing gaming community.

Indie Game Utsav is supported by industry giants like Xbox, Xsolla, Specter, and Nodwin Gaming, with IGDA India (International Game Developers Association) serving as the Community Partner. With 132 million players globally on PC platform Steam alone and PC gaming contributing 22% of video game revenue in India, this festival aims to strengthen the culture of PC and console gaming in the country.

Indie Game Utsav will also provide Indian developers a platform to connect with global publishers such as Krafton, Garena, Epic Games, Neon Doctrine, Dangen Entertainment, Xbox, Xsolla, 1312 Interactive, and Untold Tales. Additionally, digital networking opportunities will be available with Devolver Digital, RawFury, PluginDigital, Women in Games, WhiteThornGames, BrightGambit, Herocraft, Spielfabrique, and Toge Productions, among others.

Leading up to the main event, several pre-festival activities will be held to support and engage Indian indie developers. Rawfury X Indie Game Utsav, scheduled for March 24-25, 2025, will feature sessions with Swedish indie publishing specialist Rawfury, including AMAs, pitch deck reviews, and industry discussions. Epic Games for Indies will provide expert guidance on game development, marketing, and community engagement. The Game Maker Mixer, happening on April 11, 2025, will offer a casual networking space for developers and publishers. Furthermore, Indie Game Utsav is collaborating with MGN Indie Game Events in China, allowing select Indian indie games to gain exposure to Chinese publishers and audiences throughout 2025.
