India’s ventriloquist, puppeteer, and puppet maker, Satyajit Ramdas Padhye, performed alongside the global music band Coldplay during their India tour. Accompanied by his team—Kaustubh, Sushant, and Kailash—Satyajit presented a puppet performance during the song Good Feelings, adding a visual component to the concert.
Coldplay’s management team selected Satyajit for this collaboration due to his expertise in various puppetry techniques, including muppet-style puppets, rod puppets, string puppets, and ventriloquial puppets. His prior international performances contributed to this selection.

To prepare, Satyajit and his team trained under American puppeteers Nicolette and Drew from the Jim Henson Company. Their training facilitated a smooth integration of puppetry into Coldplay’s live act, complementing Chris Martin’s vocals and the band’s stage presence.
Satyajit and his team performed in all five shows of the tour, engaging audiences with their presentation. Their collaboration introduced an element of puppetry to the concerts, offering a distinctive performance aspect.
