Swarathma, the folk-rock band known for their vibrant performances and commitment to environmental advocacy, is set to embark on a groundbreaking nationwide tour powered by solar and clean energy.

In collaboration with solar energy pioneers Sustain Plus Energy Foundation and SELCO Foundation, along with energy storage experts AmpereHour, Swarathma will bring their unique blend of music and activism to audiences across India. The tour aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability in the entertainment industry by utilizing a portable clean energy system in place of traditional diesel generators.

The Swarathma India Tour will visit major cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Indore, Guragaon, and Jaipur, offering concertgoers an unforgettable experience that merges entertainment with eco-consciousness.

“We are thrilled and honored to partner with an iconic Indian band like Swarathma on this unique tour. Our Battery based Energy Storage Systems have the potential to replace diesel-based power generation, that have been used historically for powering events and this concert will act as a proof of concept that we hope to scale across the entire entertainment and events industry, helping them decarbonize their operations” said Ayush Misra, CEO, AmpereHour Energy.

The announcement of the Swarathma India Tour follows the release of the band's music video for their song "Raushan," the lead single from their upcoming fourth studio album. With its message of hope, "Raushan" sets the tone for Swarathma's mission to inspire positive change through their music and actions.

Partnering with industry leaders, Swarathma aims to set a new standard for environmentally-conscious entertainment and encourage the adoption of sustainable practices within the music industry.

“As a band we are excited to bring alive a concert experience that is friendlier to the earth. The experience of co-creating this vision with our sustainability and engineering partners has been very enriching. It is almost as much fun as planning the set lists and the concert itself!”, said Jishnu Dasgupta, the band’s bassist.

The Swarathma India Tour will visit major cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Indore, Guragaon, and Jaipur, offering concertgoers an unforgettable experience.
