Goa Tourism Spirit of Goa Festival 2023

The Department of Tourism, Goa, is all set to organise the Spirit of Goa Festival 2023, scheduled to be held from April 21 to 23. The three-day celebration aims at promoting the rich culture, heritage, folk dance music, and renowned Feni made from Coconut and Cashew of Goa. The festival is set to exhibit an extensive range of products, cuisine, beverages, handicrafts, and local talents.

The event boasts an array of exciting programs, including live demonstrations on distilling cashew and coconut juice to create Feni, cashew stomping competitions, master classes, and cooking demonstrations by renowned professionals and chefs showcasing authentic Goan cuisine. In addition to these, the festival will offer comedy shows, music performances by bands, mimicry, dance acts, and various surprises.

Food and beverage stalls will be set up by local folks. Notably, major band performances by Black in White, Pure Magic Band, Mercury Band, and others are scheduled, and Lorna Cordeiro, the Nightingale of Goa, will grace the stage once again. Moreover, the event will highlight Goa's small-scale industries, farms, and agro-tourism, emphasizing their economic value and supporting the local agrarian economy.
